If time rolled backwards,
of what use will be man’s odyssey?
will his age descend into open depths or steam into ancient glory?
who will honour the memories of his provenance,
As he recoils into youth and undo his terrible nights,
a crashing ante?
or –
will he become an anathema for a forbidden future?!
Men live in the absence of time,
piping their lives through the past
soaring the filament of regrets,
unsung,
devout to their pursuit of a ‘life-long’ adversary under an infallible heaven.
