Officers of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) have arrested a member of a notorious “One-Chance” robbery gang operating in Lagos after a dramatic chase along Funsho Williams Avenue in Surulere.
The suspect, Toyib Ogunjobi, was caught after his gang robbed and pushed a female passenger from their moving commercial bus while the two other gang members escaped.
During questioning, Ogunjobi who was caught with Seven stolen phones confessed that his three-man syndicate targets passengers along the Costain-Ojota route, making up to ₦300,000 daily from selling stolen valuables.
He revealed the bus owner is also part of the criminal operation.
