Israeli warplanes continued their bombardment of Beirut’s southern suburbs on Friday triggering loud explosions that shook the Lebanese capital.
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson, Daniel Hagari said in a brief video statement that the Israeli military had struck Hezbollah’s headquarters but the number of casualties from the scene is unclear.
The strikes came soon after Prime Minister Netanyahu vowed to continue targeting Hezbollah in Lebanon.
A similar vow was made by Defence Minister Yoav Gallant.
