American rapper, Lil Wayne has admitted that not being picked as the headliner of the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show broke him.
Nicki Minaj and some fans recently criticised Jay-Z, who was in charge of the selection of the headliner of the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show, for picking Kendrick Lamar instead of Wayne.
Reacting in a video message that went viral Lil Wayne said it would have been the greatest honour for him to headline the 2025 Super Bowl in his hometown, New Orleans.
Wayne added that he’s trying to move on from the disappointment.
