A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted Former Commander of the Force Intelligence Response Team, DCP Abba Kyari a two weeks bail.
The two weeks bail was granted to Kyari to enable him to return home and complete the burial rites of his late mother.
The court subsequently set May 31 for determination of his bail application in trial over drug-related charges filed by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA following his arrest over two years ago on February 14, 2022.
The former IRT boss was arrested on February 14, 2022, by the NDLEA.
