Sir Emmanuel Itoya Ijewere’s Family Formally Announces Burial Plans

The family of Sir, Emmanuel Itoya Ijewere KSM, FCQ, FCTI, DF, IoD, has officially announced the burial arrangements of the deceased.

In a statement contained in the patriarch’s obituary, sighted by this news medium, veracitydesk.com.ng, the family indicated that Thursday, February 1, 2024, service of songs and evening of tributes will take place at Habour Point Event Centre, Victoria Island at 5pm.

Subsequently, the funeral mass will accordingly take place on Friday, February 2, at Church of Assumption, Falomo, Ikoyi area, at 10am.

Family however stated that interment is strictly private.

Ijewere was born in October 30, 1946.

The septuagenalerian passed on, in December 28, 2023 at midnight after a protracted illness. He was the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), the Institute of Directors (IOD), and the Nigerian Red Cross.

He later in life got married to his heartthrob, Jayne Ijewere (Mrs), and the union was blessed with wonderful children, namely. Emmanuel and Uzo Ijewere, Usifo (deceased) and Anino Ijewere, Emma and Seyi Onabule, Isiah Ijewere, Robert and Oyinda Ijewere, Ehi Ijewere and nine grandchildren.

Sir Ijewere is one of Nigeria’s most respected Accountants/Tax Consultants.
