Popular Broadcaster, Rufai Oseni over has announced the launch of the annual Oseni Centre Best Teachers Prize during a teacher training workshop held at his Oseni Centre based in Odogbolu, Ogun State.
According to him, the newly established award aims to celebrate and motivate exceptional educators in Nigerian communities.
The award followed the development training session held for teachers in collaboration with education bodies Coachfrika and the One Million Teachers government-backed initiative.
In an address to the audience, Oseni said, “this year, we are training the teachers and also putting them on a global teacher training platform of one million teachers.
“We are constantly taking this program to rural Odogbolu to be able to give the people a chance at development. The Oseni Center will be transforming lives in local communities.”
Launched a few months ago in honour of his deceased parents, the Oseni Centre hass become a hub community enrichment programs. It has hosted debate programmes for students and moving towards training workshops and celebrating outstanding mentors via the new Best Teachers Prize.
