National Judicial Council (NJC) has recommended the appointment of 11 Supreme Court justices.
This was disclosed by the Council’s Director of Information, Soji Oye in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.

Justice Habeeb Adewale O. Abiru
Justice Jamilu Yammama Tukur
Justice Abubakar Sadiq Umar
Justice Mohammed Baba Idris
The recommended candidates will be sworn in after their recommendation is approved by President Bola Tinubu and their appointments are subsequently confirmed by the Senate.
With this appointment, the supreme court will have the full complement of 21 justices, as envisaged by the Constitution
