Australian singer, Sia Furler has admitted to been in bed for three years due to depression after her split from her ex-husband, Erik Anders Lang in 2016, which made her unable to write new music.
The singer who is set to release an album titled “Reasonable Woman”, noted she began writing again in bits until she had enough material for her new record which is due for release sometime next year.
The Chandelier hitmaker filed divorce documents in 2016, which cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as reason for their split.
In a statement, the former lovers said they took time making their decision, but are ‘dedicated to remaining friends.’
‘After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple,’ the statement read.
The Chandelier singer, known for covering her face from ear to ear with a black and white wig recently marred Dan Bernad.
She also hinted at getting rid of her trademark wig so she can interact with her audience like she did in the early days of her career.
