A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari who was arrested last year for his role in a drug deal.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) had declared the former super cop wanted over his alleged involvement in a 25kg cocaine deal.
The former Super Cop was subsequently arrested and arraigned in court, which ordered his remand in Kuje Prison in Abuja.
He was also suspended from the force following the formation of a panel to probe the allegations against him.
While Justice Kolawole Omotosho of a Federal High Court in Abuja granted him bail, Kyari still has a criminal case before Justice Emeka Nwite of a federal high Court in Abuja.
