Immediate past Governors and new ones on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to Former President Muhammadu Buhari in his Daura home, in Katsina state.
In a tweet by Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the visit was to felicitate the former president for the successful completion of his tenure, the achievements and development recorded under his tenure.
According to Sanwo-Olu, the governors appreciated Buhari for cooperating and collaborating with governors during his tenure to implement developmental policies for the good of the people.
The governors also wished him well as he starts another journey in his life.
Some of the Governors who visited the former President are Governors Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, Hope Uzodinma of Imo, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Abdullahi Sule of Nassarawa and Dikko Radda of Katsina.
The former ones are Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano and Mohammed Badaru of Jigawa.
