As Supreme Court decide on Osun Guber Election today.
My position is very simple. That is:
1) BIVAS is necessary but not Sufficient to decide exactly the true reflection of valid votes cast, peacefully and freely by the voters.
This is because BIVAS is only a Storage Facility that has no brain of its own to analyse whatever is fed into it with a view to rejecting what should be rejected as fraud. In other words, it is garbage in, garbage out as determined solely by whoever has upper hand at the PUs to decided what should be the garbage in
2) Some Result Sheets and Figures fed into the BIVAS and uploaded into the INEC’s IReV Portals are not exactly the valid votes cast by voters and for which Political Parties they are cast.
3) Rigging and Electoral Frauds still occured and the so-called leading Political Parties, their Candidates and Supporters participated in these and also benefitted from these
4) The only thing BIVAS did differently is drastically reduced Ballot Box stuffings and over-voting. Otherwise, it is same old story of rig me, I rig you.
In conclusion, I therefore advise that the Hon. Justices of the Supreme Court should not be accused by any of both Parties in this Dispute as not having done Justice to this matter.
