Nigerian students stranded in Sudan, drivers stopped us over non-payment they claim.

Video released online and yet to be independently verified have shown stranded Nigerian students in Sudan complaining about the poor treatment they got from the bus drivers conveying them to safety in Sudan.

In the video, a young lady was complaining that the bus stopped mid way and the drivers complained about non payment.It is however not yet confirmed if the drivers have resumed the journey.

In another video, other buses were seen parked at a particular point.The Minister of foreign Affairs, had assured the students that they will be evacuated indicating that over 1m dollars was spent on the evacuation.

Attempt to reach representative of the foreign Affairs ministry proved abortive as our calls weren’t returned
