Dominic Raab has resigned as justice secretary and deputy prime minister after an inquiry into allegations of bullying.
Raab, in a letter to Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak said his resignation was in keeping up with a previous pledge to do so if the probe confirmed any of the right Allegations against him.
Although the report of the probe carried out by Senior Lawyer, Adam Tolley is yet to be made public, Raab indicated that he was cleared of all but two charges.
The resignation of Raab – one of Sunak’s key supporters during the Conservative leadership contest last year – means the prime minister will need to appoint a new justice secretary.
