The Nigerian Army has revealed that its officers killed 63 Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa terrorists between the beginning of March and the 15th of April.
A statement by Director Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadani told newsmen that the troops also liberated over 150 victims in the course of their different operations across the country, including Hadarin Daji, Hadin Kai, and Delta Safe.
Danmadani listed items recovered to include 36 ak-47 rifles, ak-47 magazines, other sophisticated weapons, food stuffs, motorcycles, explosives and rustled cattle from the terrorists.
He said stolen crude oil and automotive gas oil recoveries worth N259m were also made from the hands of illegal oil bunkers in the Niger Delta
