A Magistrate Court in Abuja has ordered that Obiajulu Ujah, a support of Peter Obi be remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja.
Ujah will be there for one month on observation to enable medical experts to determine the state of his mental health.
Ujah is on trial for a criminal charge in a case marked CR/08/23 filed by the Commissioner of Police in the Federal Capital Territory.
Magistrate Abdulazeel Muhammed of the FCT Magistrate Court ruled on Thursday in Zuba Magisterial District, according to reports.
“Having scrutinized the medical report dated 17th day of April 2023 and signed by Dr Olusegun Shoyombo, a consultant psychiatrist, I am of the opinion that the defendant cannot defend himself,” he said.
Recall that on March 31, Ujah stirred commotion at the Abuja airport, in a Lagos-bound Ibom Air flight, where he warned against the inauguration of President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
