10 corpses have been recovered from Unguwar Wakili in Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State after gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked the community.

The local government authorities, which announced this, declared a 24-hour curfew on Ungwan Juju, Mabuhu, Ungwan Wakili and Zangon Urban, with immediate effect.

In a statement issued by the Special Assistant (Media) to Chairman, Zangon Kataf Local Government Council of Kaduna State, Yabo Chris Ephraim, said the curfew is to allow soldiers restore peace.

The police in Kaduna are yet to react to the incident.
