Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, says his administration is working tirelessly to address the fuel shortage and scarcity of new naira notes and exploring every possible avenue to make life more comfortable for the people of Ekiti State.

In a series of tweets on his official Twitter handle, the governor said he will not rest until a lasting solution is found.

The statement reads; “My administration empathizes with Ekitikete as we face this challenging situation due to the fuel shortage and scarcity of new naira notes. I understand that these issues have caused disruptions to our daily lives and have created undue stress and anxiety.

“However, I want to remind you that in times like this, it’s crucial to maintain a positive outlook and to hold onto hope. Let us all remain calm and peaceful, as we work together to find solutions to these challenges.

“I urge all traditional rulers, religious, political, & community leaders to use their influence to prevent any form of unrest or incitement of trouble amongst our citizens, particularly our youths. Let us stand united & work towards finding solutions that will benefit everyone.

“As a leader, I want to assure you that we are working tirelessly to address the situation and exploring every possible avenue to make life more comfortable for the people of Ekiti State. We will not rest until a lasting solution is found.

“So, let us keep our heads up, remain positive, and work together to overcome these challenges. I have faith that with our collective efforts as a people, we will come out of this stronger and better.”
