The Peoples Democratic Party has expelled former Governor of Enugu State, Chimaroke Nnamani and six national Assembly Candidates in Ekiti and Imo States.
Those expelled include son of Ex governor Ayo fayose and house of Representative Candidate, Oluwajomiloju Fayose, the ex governor’s spokesman, Lere Olayinka, his counterpart in Ekiti South, Eniola Jennifer, Yinka Akerele and another national Assembly Candidate in Imo, Chris Ogbu.
Also expelled is a Senatorial candidate from Ekiti, Lateef Ajijola.
According to party Spokesman, Debo Ologunagba, their expulsion was ratified by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at its 566th meeting for anti-Party activities and other grave offences in violation of the Constitution of the PDP (as amended in 2017).
