In a statement by Senator Lee Meaba, the Rivers PDP has made strong allegations of attacks against its members.
The letter states

We were in your office yesterday to inform you of Gov wike attack on Atiku supporters in Rivers using the police 👮🏾‍♀️ for political purposes.
He arrested 32 of our supporters from there meeting venue on Sunday
Charged them to court for cultism on Monday morning and sent them to prison till end of March after the elections
All efforts to reach you to stop the police from prosecuting them was fruitless
We’re still in abuja to see you to secure their release
