The Directorate of Outdoor Promotions and Management under the Independent Campaign Council headed by Mr. Tayo Ayinde who is also the Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor of Lagos State held a peer review meeting to assess the progress of the ongoing poster pasting exercise across the 377 wards in Lagos State.
The meeting which was held at Radisson Blu Hotel Ikeja was chaired by its Director Comrade Ayodele Adewale and focussed on deploying more strategies to increase the numbers of posters across the 377 wards in Lagos Stare and public awareness of the various programs of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration as Governor of Lagos State in line with his 25 years blue print developmental plan for Lagos State when he was Governor from 1999 to 2007 which the current Governor of Lagos, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and his predecessors have modified and implemented.
The master plan covered infrastructural development of Lagos State to include the blue and red rail line transportation network, Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lekki Deep Seaport, 4th Mainland bridge, Lekki Ikoyi bridge, Badagry expressway, Badagry seaport, various flyover bridges in Lagos and the Lekki airport.
The introduction of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) for effective security of the state and it’s sustainable funding in partnership with the private sector, Comprehensive health sector development and infrastructure, education improvements, creation of more higher institutions, creation of technology hubs, improving the opportunities in the creative art industry, improving the internally generated revenue, sports and youth’s development, ocean transportation and economy, exploring greater partnership with the private sector on tourism and science et al.
The Directorate has planned to role out more information in the coming week using 13 giant outdoor LED screens across major streets, roads and highways to showcase to the public how Lagos has evolved in the last 22 years.
A Toyota super hilux vehicle was donated to the directorate of Outdoor Promotions and Management by Abatan Ibrahim and presented by Hon. Oshinowo after he had informed the Director General of the ICC Mr. Tayo Ayinde about their support for the ICC
