The Abia State Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Uche Ikonne, is dead.
This was confirmed by his son Chikezie Uche-Ikonne in a statement on Wednesday.
Ikonne was said to have died at the National Hospital Abuja today after suffering from multiple cardiac arrests.
He said Further details and arrangements would be made known to the public after deliberations and meetings.
