The convoy of the Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom has been involved in a car crash with atleast two state lawmakers injured.
It was gathered that the incident occurred earlier today when the governor and the Peoples Democratic Party supporters were traveling for campaign activities in Utokon community of Ado Local Government Area.
A branded bus fully loaded with PDP supporters was said to have lost control and rammed into three vehicles; a Jeep, a security vehicle, and another bus in the convoy.
Meanwhile, an ambulance attached to the convoy evacuated the injured persons to the hospital while the rest continued with the journey.
