The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has confirmed the arrest of 1,232 suspects and recovery of 15, 104.555 kilogrammes of illicit drugs in Kaduna.
This was disclosed by the State Commander of the Agency, Ibrahim Baraje who highlighted the recoveries including Indian hemp, weighting heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, tramadol and psychotropic.
Baraje said out of the number arrested, 68 were females and 1,163 are males.
He said 132 illicit drug joints were also destroyed and 27 properties connected to drug traffickers sealed.
