I’m Dr. Bennibor onisokien
I’m from Rivers State
I have to speak up before it’s too late
I studied medicine in ukraine and i graduated this year
It was not an easy experience as I had to flee ukraine due to the war and all and luckily I made it out alive even though my house was bombed .
Arriving Nigeria my own country I was expecting that I will be welcomed and all will be well after all I went through due to the war ,only to get here and the government through the MDCN has decided not to recognize our medical certificates because we had few months online classes because of the war.
this is totally wicked and this policy is highly demonic because during quarantine everyone studied online because of COVID and same can be said for us that where victims to this cold war in Ukraine .
The MDCN needs to reconsider this policy so that the millions of people affected by this policy can have a chance to write the license exams and serve their country,I mean in a country where doctors are resigning and leaving the country, those that are willing should be giving a chance to write the license exams ,they can’t just write us off because of 1 or 2 months online classes.Let the license exams decide who is QUALIFIED! and not just mere men without conscience because if they had kids affected ,this policy would never had seen break of day !
for me I remember how hard it was for my mother to train me overseas it’s wasn’t easy as she ran into huge debts to make sure I graduated and she doesn’t deserve this pain at all. This has made me depressed and my dreams shattered
I really need to speak up
Can you grant me an interview??
