Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke, has directed that the most senior career heads across all the local government, local council development areas in the State take charge of the affairs of their respective councils with immediate effect.
This was made known in a statement by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, on Monday in Osogbo.
According to the statement, Adeleke maintained that it was in compliance with the judgement of the Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo that sacked the purportedly elected local government Chairmen and Councilors.
Recall that on Friday, November 25, 2022, Justice Ayo Nathaniel Emmanuel of the Federal High Court, Osogbo, nullified the Osun local government election.
