The Ekiti State House of Assembly on Monday lifted the suspension on Hon. Adekemi Balogun.
A statement by the Assembly Spokesman, Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye said the decision followed, ” consideration of her letter of apology and the fulfillment of other conditions attached to reinstatement.”
“Hon. Adekemi Balogun has therefore been readmitted to the house with all her rights and privileges restored.”
Recall that the lawmaker was one of seven others suspended by the House following the election of Hon. Bunmi Adelugba as Speaker.
The seven lawmakers were suspended for defying the directives of the leadership of the All Progressives Congress and supporting former leader of Government Business, Hon. Gboyega Aribisogan who was impeached only three days after his election.
