This writ is to be served within twelve calendar months from the date thereof, or, if renewed, within six months from the date of the last renewal, including the day of such date, and not afterwards.
The Defendants may enter appearance personally or by their Solicitor either by handling in the appropriate forms, duly completed, at the Registry of High Court of the Judicial Division in which the action is brought, or by sending them to the Registry by registered post.
The Claimant Claim against the Defendants jointly and severally as follows:
a. A DECLARATION that the publication by the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Defendants in the Blueprint online media https://www.blueprint.ng/kogi-govt-calls-for-arrest-of-natasha-over-alleged-link-with-terrorist/ on October 31, 2022 titled “Kogi government demands arrest of Natasha over ‘link with terrorist” is libelous and defamatory against the Claimant.
b. A DECLARATION that the publication by the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th Defendants through the vanguard newspaper online media at https://www.vanguardngr.com/2022/10/terrorism-kogi-govt-asks-security-agencies-to-invite-uduaghan-for-questioning/amp/ on October 31, 2022 titled “Terrorism: Kogi Govt asks security agencies to invite Uduaghan for questioning” is libelous and defamatory against the Claimant .
c. A DECLARATION that the publication by the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th and 8th Defendants in the Punch online publication of 31st October, 2022 and at https://punchng.com/terrorism-kogi-demands-probe-of-pdp-senatorial-candidate/?amp titled “Terrorism: Kogi demands probe of PDP senatorial candidate: is libelous and defamatory against the Claimant.
d. A DECLARATION that the publication by the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th Defendants in the Nigerian Tribune online publication of 31st October, 2022 at https://tribuneonlineng.com/terrorism-kogi-govt-asks-security-agencies-to-invite-natasha-uduaghan-for-questioning/ “Terrorism: Kogi Govt Asks Security Agencies To Invite Natasha Uduaghan For Questioning is libelous and defamatory against the Claimant.
e. AN ORDER against the Defendants jointly and severally to pay the sum of N5,000, 000,000,000.00 (Five Billion Naira) as damages for the libelous publication by the Defendants against the Claimant in their various publications.
f. AN ORDER directing the Defendants jointly and severally to retract the libelous publication and issue a public apology to the Claimant retracting the libelous publication.
g. AN INJUNCTION restraining the Defendants jointly and severally by themselves, agents or servants or otherwise from publishing or causing to be published the said similar words defamatory against the Claimant.
