JONATHAN, EMEFIELE, AMAECHI RECEIVE PUBLIC SERVICE AWARD

Former President Goodluck Jonathan and 43 other Nigerians are recipients of the maiden edition of the Nigeria Excellence awards in public service(NEAPS)
The event is taking place in the Conference room of the Presidential Villa.
To be eligible, the recipient must be a living Public Official or a private a citizen excelling consistently in a given
sphere of influence, in good character
standing and must also be at the forefront of service and innovation.
The individual must show an act of public service beyond the acts of their given mandate in endowing their society positively.
16 serving governors including Nyesome Wike of Rivers state were awarded for their various contributions to Infrastructure delivery, security management, agric development , industrial revolution and innovation
While Parliamentary excellence went to the leadership of the National Assembly,
military & paramilitary Special category ; went to the service chiefs and inspector general of police
Some ministers, heads of agencies and captains of industry and academia were also awarded
