President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a condolence message to the Ogbulafor family over the death of the former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Chairman, Vincent Ogbulafor.
The former PDP’s National Chairman died in Canada on Friday at the age of 73.
Buhari, in a condolence message on Saturday to Ogbulafor’s family said the late politician will be remembered for his role in Nigeria’s democratic growth.
In a statement signed by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, Buhari praised the former PDP Chairman for sustaining the unity and progress of the country.
The president also commiserated with leaders and members of the PDP, the Olokoro Royal family in Umuahia, and the Government and people of Abia State over the loss of Ogbulafor.
