Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, encouraged Nigerians on Thursday night not to believe the notion that the nation is a failing state.

This is despite the fact that the APC presidential nominee said he felt better following his 11-day holiday in London, United Kingdom.

Tinubu made the announcement in Abuja immediately after alighting from his private plane, amidst loud joy from his followers and some members of his Presidential Campaign Council.

The former governor of Lagos State was enthusiastically greeted by his running partner Kashim Shettima, the director general of the PCC Simon Lalong, his deputy Adams Oshiomhole, and other party leaders.

Tinubu, addressing media amidst chants of ‘Jagaban’ and ‘City Boy,’ said that he was ready for the political campaign and felt better.

He said, “The vacation was excellent. I appreciated my break. And I am pleased to be back in my homeland.

“And Nigerians should anticipate a very intellectual capacity for thought and performance. Nigerians should anticipate that the essential assistance has arrived, as the almost trembling hope is actively returning.

“And we hold every endeavour to the nation to the highest standards of patriotism, loyalty, capability, and ability to complete the task. This nation is the finest, regardless of bad thoughts or the fact that Nigeria has failed.

If it involves reconstruction, we are builders; if it involves building, we are constructors. If it is assurance, we assure Nigerians that we would build a better nation out of everything.”
