Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has reappointed Dr. Hakeem Shittu as the Executive Chairman of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) with the mandate to reinforce his administration’s commitment to advancing basic education in the state.
A statement on the X account of the Lagos State Government described Shittu as a visionary leader, pivotal in implementing transformative policies and programs that have significantly improved the standard of education in state-owned primary schools.
The statement added that under his tenure, LASUBEB has made remarkable progress in enhancing infrastructure, training teachers, and introducing innovative learning initiatives that benefit pupils across the state.
Expressing his gratitude for the reappointment, Dr. Shittu pledged to continue working towards Governor Sanwo-Olu’s vision of a robust and inclusive education system.
