The Court of Appeal in Abuja has affirmed Daniel Asama Ago’s election as the representative for Bassa/Jos North federal constituency of Plateau state.
The Labour Party Candidate won the February 4, 2024 bye-election, as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Despite the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal affirming his victory, his opponents appealed the judgement.
Responding to the judgment victory in Abuja, Ago praised the judiciary’s commitment to justice and upholding the people’s will.
He called on his opponents to join him in providing quality representation for their constituency.
