President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has departed from Lagos to the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.
Tinubu landed in Lagos on Tuesday following his attendance at a global Climate Summit in France and a private visit to London, United Kingdom.
In Lagos, the President actively took part in Eid festivities, undertook a short trip to Ogun State and was hosted to a state event in Lagos.
President Tinubu also received a visit on Saturday from President Embalo, who also serves as the Chairman of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government.
During their meeting, President Embalo expressed admiration for Tinubu’s noteworthy policy initiatives in the past month. He commended the Nigerian leader for the significant progress made, which has garnered international acclaim. President Embalo acknowledged the positive impact of Nigeria’s recent advancements and emphasised the country’s crucial role in African affairs.
Some sources within the Presidency have however told Veonews that the President may send in his cabinet list to the National Assembly when they resume from recess this week.
