Tinubu Approves Redeployment of Four Permanent Secretaries

President Bola Tinubu has approved the redeployment of four Federal Permanent Secretaries in a move aimed at strengthening the Federal Civil Service and improving service delivery.

Dr. Mary Ada Ogbe moves from Solid Minerals to the Ministry of Regional Development, where she will understudy the outgoing Permanent Secretary ahead of retirement in May.

Engr. Faruk Yabo has been reassigned from the Ministry of Communications to Solid Minerals, Dr. Emeka Obi leaves Budget and Economic Development for the Ministry of Petroleum Resources while Ogbodo Chinasa Nnam moves from Special Duties Office to the Ministry of Information and National Orientation.

Head of Service, Didi Walson-Jack who described the exercise as a routine administrative measure to match expertise with national priorities urged the officials to ensure seamless transitions and contribute meaningfully in their new roles.

She directed all handover activities to be completed by May 2nd.
