Remo Stars Ladies and Nasarawa Amazons have secured their places in the Nigeria Women Football League Super Six Playoffs.
Remo Stars sealed their maiden qualification with a 2-2 draw against Abia Angels in a rescheduled fixture on Thursday. The Ikenne-based side needed just a point and delivered in style.
The result also confirmed Nasarawa Amazons’ place in the playoffs, following their 1-0 win over reigning champions Edo Queens on Wednesday in Lafia.
Edo Queens, Bayelsa Queens, and Rivers Angels had already booked their places.
Meanwhile, the final playoff spot will be decided on the last day of the regular season, with Naija Ratels and FC Robo Queens still in contention.
