Gov. Oyebanji Flags off Ekiti Aerial Mapping at Ekiti Airport

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji has today flagged off the Aircraft Photographic Coverage of the state as part of ongoing comprehensive GIS mapping of the state.  

The event which took place at the  Ekiti Agro -Allied international Cargo Airport, Ado-Ekiti, was witnessed by the Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs )Monisade Afuye; members of the state executive council, top government functionaries and traditional rulers.  

The mapping exercise commenced immediately after the flag off, with the aircraft taking off with its crew just as the guests departed the airport.  The mapping exercise will last for one month and the aircraft will fly at a very low range across communities in the state.  

The exercise is designed to allow government implement a comprehensive land administration in the interest of residents.
