A federal judge has rejected Sean “Diddy” Combs’ request to postpone his May 5 trial on sex trafficking charges, despite the music mogul’s lawyers arguing they needed more time to review new evidence.

At Friday’s pretrial hearing in Manhattan, Judge Arun Subramanian noted the 55-year-old hip-hop billionaire now has four law firms representing him, questioning why additional preparation time was necessary.

Combs, wearing prison scrubs with visibly graying hair, nodded emphatically when reminded of his presumption of innocence.

The Bad Boy Records founder faces updated charges including sex trafficking and transporting individuals for prostitution, adding to existing racketeering counts.

Multiple accusers, including ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, allege years of coercion, violence, and sexual abuse facilitated by Combs’ inner circle.

Since his September 2023 arrest, Combs has denied all allegations through attorney Marc Agnifilo, insisting any sexual encounters were consensual.

The trial is expected to last 8-10 weeks, with the defendant remaining in custody.
