The Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Wilfred Afolabi, has cautioned Fulani leaders in Ijebu-Owo, Owo Local Government Area, against shielding criminals under the guise of tribal affiliation.
Afolabi urged them to provide credible information that could help curb criminal activities in the state, especially the rising cases of kidnapping.
The CP issued the warning during a security meeting with Fulani leaders, held as part of efforts to strengthen the state’s Community Safety Partnership.
He emphasized that safeguarding Ondo’s security is a collective responsibility and appealed to the Fulani community to actively contribute to ensuring the safety of residents and eliminating crime from the state.
