France has intimated the public of plans to distribute survival manuals to all citizens, preparing them for national emergencies, including wars and nuclear incidents.
The initiative, led by Prime Minister François Bayrou, follows similar actions in Sweden and Finland.
A spokesperson for Bayrou stated that the manual, expected to be distributed before summer, aims to develop resilience in the face of crises, covering natural disasters, cyberattacks, pandemics, and armed conflicts.
The manual provides self-protection tips, emergency contacts, and guidance on joining civil defense efforts.
