Victoria Goodwin, wife of American actor, Aaron Goodwin, has been arrested for allegedly hiring a hitman to kill the actor barely two years after their wedding.
American media outlets report she was arrested on March 6 on charges of solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder after she allegedly plotted with a Florida inmate to have her husband killed.
Police said Victoria provided the whereabouts of her husband, who was filming ‘Ghost Adventures’ at the time in California, via text to the inmate who was expected to plan the murder.
One of the purported messages she sent to the prisoner included: “He’s asleep right now in the hotel room … I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update. Was it done?”
According to the Police, Victoria who admitted the couple were having marital problems but denied the plot was going to pay the alleged hitman $11,515 with an upfront payment of $2,500.
