The Chairman of, the House Committee on Nigeria-European Union Parliamentary Friendship Group, Abdulraheem Abdulmaleek, has promised to improve the relationship between the body and the committee via frequent parliamentary parleys.
This is as the lawmaker described the EU as a critical development partner, with a significant impact on security, good governance, and climate change, among others.
Abdulmaleek made the remarks today while speaking during an interactive session at the EU Mission in Nigeria in Abuja on Wednesday.
“Strengthening our existing relationship through parliamentary engagements is the way to go,” the federal lawmaker said.
