The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has condemned a viral video alleging that its fuel does not last.
In a statement, NNPCL spokesperson, Olufemi Soneye dismissed the claim as baseless, describing it as an unverified and misleading report lacking credibility.
“This misleading video represents yet another desperate attempt by economic saboteurs to misinform the public and tarnish NNPC Ltd.’s reputation.
“We will not tolerate deliberate misinformation designed to undermine our operations and mislead Nigerians.
“Henceforth, NNPC Ltd will take firm legal action against individuals or groups who intentionally spread falsehoods about our brand and operations.
NNPCL clarified that a significant percentage of fuel sold at its retail stations in Lagos comes from the Dangote Refinery, which adheres to strict industry standards to ensure quality and efficiency.
The company further warned against deliberate misinformation aimed at tarnishing its reputation, stating that it will take legal action against individuals or groups spreading falsehoods.
