The Commissioner for Information in Ekiti State, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun has described calls of many Ekiti indigenes for Governor Biodun Oyebanji to seek re-election in 2026 as a reflection of the confidence that Ekiti people have in his leadership.
Speaking in an interview in Ado Ekiti, the Commissioner noted that Ekiti people on different political, social and religious platforms have been calling on Oyebanji to seek re-election following his sterling performances in the last two years of his administration.
Olatunbosun who stated that though, the Governor has not officially indicated intention to seek reelection for a second term in office, said Oyebanji’s inclusive governance and the various unprecedented all-round infrastructural development have endeared the governor to the hearts of Ekiti people,
Olatunbosun stressed that the Governor has, no doubt done well to earn a second term as echoed by Ekiti people.
