President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja tomorrow for Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to participate in the Africa Heads of State Energy Summit, scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
According to a statement by Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), Bayo Onanuga, the Summit, hosted by Tanzania alongside the African Development Bank and World Bank, seeks to advance Mission 300, a project aimed at providing electricity to 300 million Africans by 2030.
African leaders, private sector representatives, and civil society groups will strategise on expanding energy access, renewable energy, and mobilising private investments.
The statement noted that President Tinubu will deliver a national address reaffirming Nigeria’s commitment to universal energy access and highlighting the country’s clean energy initiatives.
He will be accompanied by key officials, including Ministers Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu and Adebayo Adelabu.
