The Israeli military has announced that three hostages—Romi Gonen, Emily Damari and Doron Steinbrecher have been released by Hamas and are now in the custody of Israeli forces.
The International Committee of the Red Cross facilitated the transfer, confirming their safe passage.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office expressed gratitude for their return, pledging Israel’s commitment to securing the release of all hostages.
In exchange, Israel is set to release 90 Palestinian prisoners, including 69 women. Among them is a prominent member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine,Khalida Jarrar while the youngest prisoner being released is 15-year-old Mahmoud Aliowat.
