The New Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mojisola Meranda has named Temitope Adewale Adedeji as the new majority leader of the 10th Assembly.
This follows the ouster of former Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa and former leader of Government Business, Noheem Adams on Monday.
Adedamola Kasunmu retained his seat as the Deputy majority leader, while the Speaker named David Setonji as the Chief whip.
Sanni Ganiu of Kosofe Constituency, takes the seat as the Deputy whip of the House.
The lawmakers had at a sitting on Monday impeached Obasa, elected his deputy, Meranda as Speaker and former Chief Whip, Mojeed Fatai as Deputy Speaker.
