Indian Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan is recovering in hospital after being stabbed repeatedly by an intruder at his home in Mumbai overnight.
According to doctors at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, the 54-year-old actor underwent surgery after suffering six stab wounds in the attack, including two deep cuts in his back.
The intruder barged into Khan’s house in the early hours of Thursday morning and fled after stabbing the actor, according to police in Mumbai.
Police said they have identified the attacker and launched a search for him.
