Ahead of next Saturday’s local government elections in Ondo state, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has warned all the candidates of the All Progressive Congress to avoid overconfidence.
Aiyedatiwa gave the advised a meeting in Akure, the state capital, with the chairmanship, vice-chairmanship and councillorship candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the 18 local government areas of the state.
He emphasized the importance of consolidating the successes recorded during the last governorship election.
The governor also advised the candidates to demonstrate dedication and competence in their campaigns and eventual roles, stressing the need to sustain the impactful governance already established in the state.
