Everton has announced the appointment of Scottish manager David Moyes as its manager following the sacking of Sean Dyche.
Everton had sacked Dyche on Thursday following a poor run of form, with only one win from their last 11 games, leaving the team just one point above the Premier League relegation zone.
Dyche was appointed as Everton manager in January 2023 and managed to secure Premier League survival with a final-day victory over Bournemouth.
The 53-year-old also kept Everton in the top flight last season despite the club being deducted eight points due to breaches of the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules.
Moyes managed Everton previously from 2002 to 2013.
